NGC 2822 - Elliptical Galaxy in Carina
NGC 2822 is a Elliptical Galaxy in the Carina constellation. NGC 2822 is situated south of the celestial equator and, as such, it is more easily visible from the southern hemisphere. Given its visual magnitude of 12.01, NGC 2822 is visible with the help of a telescope having an aperture of 8 inches (200mm) or more.
