Below the horizon.  Never rises today
Alt: -66.98°   Az: 233.19°   Direction: South-West

NGC 3372 is a HII Ionized region in the Carina constellation. NGC 3372 is situated south of the celestial equator and, as such, it is more easily visible from the southern hemisphere. Given its B magnitude of 3, NGC 3372 is visible to the naked eye under a clear and dark sky, or with the help of a small binocular.

The image below is a photograph of NGC 3372 from the Digitized Sky Survey 2 (DSS2 - see the credits section) taken in the red channel. The area of sky represented in the image is 4.0000x4.0000 degrees (240.00x240.00 arcmins).
