27 Ursae Majoris is a hypergiant star of spectral class K0 in the constellation of Ursa Major.

27 Ursae Majoris visual magnitude is 5.17. Because of its faintness, 27 Ursae Majoris is visible to the naked eye only from locations with very dark skies, while it is not visible at all from skies affected by light pollution.

27 Ursae Majoris is situated close to the northern celestial pole and, as such, it is visible for most part of the year from the northern hemisphere.
