5 Aquarii is a variable giant star of spectral class B9 in the constellation of Aquarius.

5 Aquarii visual magnitude is 5.55. Because of its faintness, 5 Aquarii is visible to the naked eye only from locations with very dark skies, while it is not visible at all from skies affected by light pollution.
