HR8992 is a variable giant star of spectral class M7 in the constellation of Aquarius.

HR8992 visual magnitude is 6.36. Because of its faintness, HR8992 is visible to the naked eye only from locations with very dark skies, while it is not visible at all from skies affected by light pollution.
