σ Aquarii is a hypergiant star of spectral class A0 in the constellation of Aquarius.

σ Aquarii visual magnitude is 4.82. Because of its moderate brightness, σ Aquarii is easily visible to the naked eye from locations with dark skies, while it might be barely visible, or not visible at all, from light-polluted skies.
