HR1232 is a main-sequence star of spectral class G9 in the constellation of Eridanus.

HR1232 visual magnitude is 5.83. Because of its faintness, HR1232 is visible to the naked eye only from locations with very dark skies, while it is not visible at all from skies affected by light pollution.
