HR1423 is a variable main-sequence star of spectral class B1 in the constellation of Eridanus.

HR1423 visual magnitude is 5.6. Because of its faintness, HR1423 is visible to the naked eye only from locations with very dark skies, while it is not visible at all from skies affected by light pollution.
