HR1299 is a giant star of spectral class K1 in the constellation of Eridanus.

HR1299 visual magnitude is 6.44. Because of its faintness, HR1299 is visible to the naked eye only from locations with very dark skies, while it is not visible at all from skies affected by light pollution.
