HR3442 is a variable and double sub-giant star of spectral class B4 in the constellation of Vela.

HR3442 visual magnitude is 5.19. Because of its faintness, HR3442 is visible to the naked eye only from locations with very dark skies, while it is not visible at all from skies affected by light pollution.
