HR3494 is a supergiant star of spectral class B3 in the constellation of Vela.

HR3494 visual magnitude is 5.46. Because of its faintness, HR3494 is visible to the naked eye only from locations with very dark skies, while it is not visible at all from skies affected by light pollution.
