HR4519 is a variable giant star of spectral class B6 in the constellation of Centaurus.

HR4519 visual magnitude is 5.29. Because of its faintness, HR4519 is visible to the naked eye only from locations with very dark skies, while it is not visible at all from skies affected by light pollution.

HR4519 is situated south of the celestial equator, as such, it is more easily visible from the southern hemisphere.
