HR5587 is a sub-giant star of spectral class A8 in the constellation of Centaurus.

HR5587 visual magnitude is 6.22. Because of its faintness, HR5587 is visible to the naked eye only from locations with very dark skies, while it is not visible at all from skies affected by light pollution.
