HR4944 is a double sub-giant star of spectral class F8 in the constellation of Centaurus.

HR4944 visual magnitude is 5.99. Because of its faintness, HR4944 is visible to the naked eye only from locations with very dark skies, while it is not visible at all from skies affected by light pollution.
