HR5281 is a variable hypergiant star of spectral class B0 in the constellation of Centaurus.

HR5281 visual magnitude is 6.42. Because of its faintness, HR5281 is visible to the naked eye only from locations with very dark skies, while it is not visible at all from skies affected by light pollution.
