HR8147 is a main-sequence star of spectral class A1 in the constellation of Cygnus.

HR8147 visual magnitude is 6.13. Because of its faintness, HR8147 is visible to the naked eye only from locations with very dark skies, while it is not visible at all from skies affected by light pollution.

HR8147 is situated north of the celestial equator, as such, it is more easily visible from the northern hemisphere.
