IC 3639 is a Barred Spiral Galaxy in the Centaurus constellation. IC 3639 is situated south of the celestial equator and, as such, it is more easily visible from the southern hemisphere. Given its visual magnitude of 13.5, IC 3639 is visible with the help of a telescope having an aperture of 14 inches (350mm) or more.
