IC 4247 - Spiral (?) Galaxy in Centaurus
IC 4247 is a Spiral (?) Galaxy in the Centaurus constellation. IC 4247 is situated south of the celestial equator and, as such, it is more easily visible from the southern hemisphere. Given its visual magnitude of 14.28, IC 4247 is visible with the help of a telescope having an aperture of 14 inches (350mm) or more.
