3 Hydrae is a variable star of spectral class A1 in the constellation of Hydra.

3 Hydrae visual magnitude is 5.72. Because of its faintness, 3 Hydrae is visible to the naked eye only from locations with very dark skies, while it is not visible at all from skies affected by light pollution.
