HR4420 is a giant star of spectral class K5 in the constellation of Hydra.

HR4420 visual magnitude is 6.45. Because of its faintness, HR4420 is visible to the naked eye only from locations with very dark skies, while it is not visible at all from skies affected by light pollution.
