HR4498 is a hypergiant star of spectral class G0 in the constellation of Hydra.

HR4498 visual magnitude is 6.44. Because of its faintness, HR4498 is visible to the naked eye only from locations with very dark skies, while it is not visible at all from skies affected by light pollution.
