5 Puppis is a double dwarf star of spectral class F5 in the constellation of Puppis.

5 Puppis visual magnitude is 5.48. Because of its faintness, 5 Puppis is visible to the naked eye only from locations with very dark skies, while it is not visible at all from skies affected by light pollution.
