HR3049 is a variable main-sequence star of spectral class B9 in the constellation of Puppis.

HR3049 visual magnitude is 5.93. Because of its faintness, HR3049 is visible to the naked eye only from locations with very dark skies, while it is not visible at all from skies affected by light pollution.
