HR2591 is a variable bright giant star of spectral class C3 in the constellation of Puppis.

HR2591 visual magnitude is 6.32. Because of its faintness, HR2591 is visible to the naked eye only from locations with very dark skies, while it is not visible at all from skies affected by light pollution.
