HR2249 is a variable main-sequence star of spectral class B2 in the constellation of Canis Major.

HR2249 visual magnitude is 5.92. Because of its faintness, HR2249 is visible to the naked eye only from locations with very dark skies, while it is not visible at all from skies affected by light pollution.
