Unurgunite - σ Canis Majoris (sigma Canis Majoris)

Unurgunite, also designated as σ Canis Majoris (sigma Canis Majoris), is a variable and double supergiant star in the constellation of Canis Major.

Unurgunite visual magnitude is 3.47. Because of its moderate brightness, Unurgunite should be easily visible from locations with dark skyes, while it can be barely visible, or not visible at all, from skyes affected by light pollution.
