HR2802 is a giant star of spectral class M4 in the constellation of Canis Major.

HR2802 visual magnitude is 5.87. Because of its faintness, HR2802 is visible to the naked eye only from locations with very dark skies, while it is not visible at all from skies affected by light pollution.
