IC 2617 - Lenticular Galaxy in Ursa Major
IC 2617 is a Lenticular Galaxy in the Ursa Major constellation. IC 2617 is situated north of the celestial equator and, as such, it is more easily visible from the northern hemisphere.
- IC 2617 is above the horizon from Greenwich, United Kingdom [change]. Its current altitude is 4° above the horizon. See also rise and set times.
- Given its B magnitude of 15, IC 2617 is visible with the help of a telescope havng an aperture of 20 inches (500mm) or more.
