NGC 5256 is a Galaxy Pair in the Ursa Major constellation. NGC 5256 is situated north of the celestial equator and, as such, it is more easily visible from the northern hemisphere. Given its visual magnitude of 13.42, NGC 5256 is visible with the help of a telescope having an aperture of 10 inches (250mm) or more.
