IC 2981 is a Barred Spiral Galaxy in the Ursa Major constellation. IC 2981 is situated north of the celestial equator and, as such, it is more easily visible from the northern hemisphere. Given its B magnitude of 14.7, IC 2981 is visible with the help of a telescope having an aperture of 20 inches (500mm) or more.
