NGC 4549 - Intermediate Spiral Galaxy in Ursa Major
NGC 4549 is a Intermediate Spiral Galaxy in the Ursa Major constellation. NGC 4549 is situated north of the celestial equator and, as such, it is more easily visible from the northern hemisphere. Given its B magnitude of 16, NGC 4549 is visible only through long exposure photography.
